A Dayton Ohio Church Wedding
Caleb & Kalie’s wedding day was so beautiful! I have loved working with this super sweet couple the past year. Their wedding ceremony took place in an adorable stone church with stained glass windows. This church is actually the same church my mamaw & papaw’s (my husband’s side) wedding took place. I loved getting to photograph another couple in the same place they were married.
Their reception took place at the Schindler Banquet Center in Xenia Ohio. This venue is gorgeous, from it’s lush outdoor campus with unlimited photographing opportunities to it’s large arched windows, that bring in lots of natural lighting.

I’m usually not one for weddings and not to sound selfish but this wedding had special significance for me. It was performed in the church where my late Uncle Dennis Schafer was a member. And of course it was his Grand Daughter who was the GORGEOUS bride. I can honestly say that getting back to Ohio and hanging out with family is one of the best things that has happened to me in the last several years. It was because of this wedding that this happened so I personally can’t thank Caleb and Kalie enough. I KNOW that this was not meant to be a family re-union so with my heart filled with humility, passion, family pride and OVERFLOWING LOVE that I wish Caleb and Kalie what Gail and I have experienced in 31 years of marriage: a love for your mate before yourself; a PASSION for one another that NEVER goes away; a WILLINGNESS to sacrifice for one another; and last but surely not least, a COMMITMENT to serving Christ in your marriage.
