Cox Arboretum MetroPark in Dayton, Ohio
While Cox Arboretum may signify natural beauty and grace for most Daytonians, for Sarah and Dustin, the MetroPark holds even greater significance.
Dustin purposed to Sarah at Cox Arboretum while they were having friends take photos for their Christmas cards. While that day it may have rained, their engagement session last June was perfect weather!
The grounds made for the most beautiful portraits, filled with lush greenery and vibrant florals. As a bonus, the park is also pet-friendly.
Personalizing Your Engagement Portraits
I first connected with the pair through The Knot, where many of my clients go to search for local wedding vendor inspiration.
Getting to know my clients is one of the best parts of my job. Seeing them together in their sweet, candid moments is one of the best ways to really get to know the couple and study their love language.
I loved how playful Sarah & Dustin were together. They were always making funny faces at each other and laughing at one another.
Their dog Maverick made the session extra fun. What a sweetie! I just love when couples bring their furry friends to their portrait sessions.
Looking Ahead to a Brighter Future
Among the many COVID couples, Sarah and Dustin are planning their wedding during these uncertain times.
Despite the many setbacks clients and couples face, one thing remains clear: love always wins. It’s clear to see how much these two love each other (and their pup!) and in the end, that’s all that matters.
Send this couple some love and leave a comment on the bottom of this blog post. If they receive 15 or more comments, they will win a free photo print!
xoxo, Ashley
