We are probably all a bit fed up with all this snow we’ve been having and it is easy to find ourselves complaining. It gives us something to talk about. It’s an easy relatable topic. I get it, and I’ve been guilty of it as well.
The trouble I see is that when we find ourselves complaining about the trivial it becomes our normal. It takes over and defines us and how we see the rest of the world. It is an easy trap to find ourselves in and a difficult habit to break. But, speaking only to spew out words of negativity then becomes our specialty and it rivals our ability to seek out the positive. There is so much beauty in this world, it’s up to us to find it through the ugly parts.
So, go out and search, to find the good, for she’s been waiting on you to rummage through the filth, dust her off and to be embraced. Now, leave the bad untouched and undisturbed, for he needs his rest.
xoxo,
