Yellow Springs Ohio Wedding at Mills Park Hotel
For my first wedding of the year I was able to photograph at the new Mills Park Hotel in Yellow Springs for the reception. It’s a beautiful venue and I hope to photograph many more weddings here in the future. The staff was great and the food was amazing! Seriously, it was some of the best wedding food I’ve had in a while, and I’ve been to a lot of weddings! So I’ll for sure be recommending Mills Park Hotel to my clients, not only because it was a gorgeous venue with nice staff, but also because I want some of those sweet honey carrots again!
The Hotel also has Ellie’s Restaurant & Bakery which is open daily and has great food, so check it out!
The wedding ceremony was an easy walk across the street, at the beautiful little stone First Presbyterian Church. I’ve always admired this church from the outside and it’s just as lovely on the inside, with it’s blue carpet and stained glass windows. The preacher even rang the church bells after the ceremony as the bride & groom walked outside. Too cute!
Jordan was a gorgeous bride and I’m totally obsessed with her wedding dress with an attached cape instead of a traditional veil! It was absolutely beautiful and unique!
My husband and I are good friends with Nick & Jordan. We all went to school together at Greeneview, in Jamestown. It’s always so special to get to photograph friends and family, especially on a day as special as a wedding day! It’s an added bonus when you know the bride & groom, because you know a lot of the guests and you get to do a little dancing after you’re done working! Oh, and you also get to eat cake, and Nick & Jordan’s cake was delicious! The Cake Shop has some of the best icing around!
