Make Tie-Dyed Easter Eggs using Silk Ties
Okay, so I am re-posting this blog from a few years ago as a great craft for you to do while quarantined… Enjoy!
A new kind of “tie” dyed Easter eggs using silk neck ties!
Say What?!
Have you head of such a thing!!! I was skeptical if this process would really work, but I figured I’d give it a try. It seemed like an easy new way to color Easter eggs. And they are so pretty!
So my sister-in-law and I made a trip to Goodwill to get some pretty patterned silk neck ties. We got 9 different patterns and all of them worked except one thicker silk fabric, so I recommend getting multiple ties, just in case.
I am so in LOVE with these little beauties! The eggs turned out awesome and they had really vibrant colors. I was shocked!
So if you’re looking for a new craft to keep you busy while Quarantined this Easter season, I highly recommend it, and you might already have everything you need at home.

Isn’t my sister-in-law so adorable?!
