Downtown Lebanon, Ohio, Family Photography Session
I had such a great time with the Kolodzik family during this downtown Lebanon, Ohio, family photography session. It can be a challenge to get a family photo taken when you have adult children! Life gets busier for everyone involved, whether someone is in college, getting married or moving to other cities and states. Life definitely gets more complicated, but it’s even more the reason to prioritize these family sessions when everyone is available.
This session was extra special because the Kolodziks were hoping to capture an updated family photo with their new daughter-in-law. It’s always an honor to document families as they’re growing!

Is there anything better than a family photoshoot in downtown Lebanon, Ohio, in the summer? It is such a cute, quaint town and is full of great spots for family photo sessions.
The city offers such an abundance of photo opportunities. In Lebanon, I offer both studio and outdoor session options. You can even take a note out of this family’s book, and do a mix of both during one session! The mix of studio photos and outdoor shots is always a fun experience. The location change can help loosen everyone up and get them more relaxed and accustomed to the photo shoot.

I may have saved my favorite photo for last! Keep scrolling to the end to take a peek. The Kolodzik family came to me with a brilliant idea; they wanted to re-create a special family portrait they had taken from years ago! They showed me the photograph from when their, now adult, children were still just kids. It was a shot where the full family was sitting on a studio floor. It was such a fun and special photo to recreate for them!
