Ohio Lavender Field Family Photography
One of the things I look forward to most in the summer is the photoshoots in the abundant lavender fields! This Ohio lavender field family photography session was with one of my favorite long-time clients, the Clark family. I am so grateful to have been taking photos of Lauren, Seth and their two beautiful girls, Scarlett and Rose, for so many years. Looking back on our photos from 2018, it really goes to show how quickly time flies.
We had such a great day traipsing around the lavender fields. This shoot was one of my summer lavender field family sessions. There are only a couple magical weeks each year that the lavender blossoms are in full bloom so it is important to plan in advance!

Family Photos with Ashley Lynn Photography
This photo session took place at Cedar Ridge Trails in Miamisburg, Ohio. If you haven’t visited this farm, you absolutely need to! Not only is it a stunning location for photography, they offer a ton of seasonal events, workshops and even have a pick-you-own flower offering. And if lavender is your thing, not only do they boast the full lavender fields, but they also offer handmade lavender home products in their shop.
If you missed out on the peak window for lavender, no need to worry. June & July are the peak season for these lovely lavender blooms. They also have other blooms that include wildflowers, zinnia and cosmos.
Lavender Field Family Photos
You guys know I always strive to make these family photography sessions as seamless as possible. To help make this a reality, the Clark family took advantage of my Client Wardrobe, an offering where I compile different clothing options in various sizes that my clients can wear during their photoshoot. All three beautiful dresses are from this collection! This ensured we could find dresses that not only all complimented each other, but also flowed perfectly with the landscape.
This session was also extra special because Lauren and Seth were interested in getting one of the prints framed for their home. I was thrilled to help them choose a large statement piece for their home! They ended up going with a large 20×24 inch double matted print with a lovely pewter frame that will look just amazing with the purple lavender.
