Cox Arboretum in Dayton
Cox Arboretum is one of our favorite portrait locations. Last month, we shared a beautiful engagement session I photographed at the Park. Cox Arboretum creates a beautiful backdrop, especially during the summer, full of vibrant colors and blooming blossoms.
The Qureshi Family, whom I first connected with a while back at the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival, have three beautiful daughters. Although I have been photographing this family for years, this was the first session since the youngest, Lyla was born – what a bundle of joy!

Capturing Family Memories
I did a photo several years ago of the two older girls Zoya and Aiya walking away hand in hand. Mom, Saba asked if I’d recreate that same image, so I had them walk down a beautiful path in the garden. I love how it turned out! The recreation was even better than the first.
These are some of the most memorable moments with my clients. I love how even after years of working together, we always find a way to make a new memory together. These images will be cherished for years to come.

Photographing at Golden Hour
It was a beautiful overcast evening right before sunset. I love photographing clients at this time of day because the weather is usually cooler, and the lighting naturally adds a little magic to the photos. The warm light really makes it look like a fairytale — just like this engagement session we also did at the Arboretum.
The girls are all so well behaved and so sweet and gentle with baby Lyla. You can tell how much this family loves one another. I can’t wait for my next session with the Qureshi Family and see how much their children have grown.

Send this family some love and leave a comment on the bottom of this blog post. If they receive 15 or more comments, they will win a free photo print!
xoxo, Ashley
