Centerville Ohio In-Studio Photography Session

In-Studio Family Photography Session

This was my first time meeting Yasu, Satoko and their daughter, Amy, but this Centerville Ohio family photo session was an in-studio photography session and it’s definitely one I’ll remember. The Nozaki family was such a sweet bunch to work with!

This family photoshoot was special for a few reasons. First, the Nozakis hadn’t had their photos taken since Amy was about three years old. For reference, she just turned 21! These long over due photos also coincided with Amy graduating college and her parents celebrating their wedding anniversary. I love getting to help families document these special moments – as we all know, it can be hard to prioritize getting updated family portraits, but it is so important and you’ll never regret doing so. Noir Studio Space Family Session

For this Lebanon Ohio family photography session, the family wanted an elegant indoor studio location as opposed to outside. As long time readers can probably guess, these photos were taken at Noir Studio Space located in Lebanon, Ohio. This studio space is one of my all time favorite photoshoot locations and is luckily only a 30-minute drive from the Centerville family’s home.

So, why did we choose to do this session in a studio? When you’re taking photos in a studio space, you don’t have to deal with getting caught in the rain, having to tame your hair from humidity or rescheduling due to the weather. Oh, and it’s also such a lovely space.

Client Wardrobe Collection

My number one priority when coordinating a family photoshoot for new clients is to make the whole experience as seamless as possible. One way of doing this is offering the Ashley Lynn Photography Client Wardrobe Collection. The family loved that I took all the stress off finding the perfect wardrobe for them. Satoko and Amy came into the studio a few weeks before their photo session date to pick out, and try on, dresses. They landed on these lovely blue and white dresses from the collection.

The duo also took advantage of the hair and makeup included in all my family sessions. Hair and makeup is done by professionals at Salon Noir. I think it turned out flawless! The salon is conveniently connected to the studio, which makes for an even more seamless & stress-free experience for my clients.
