Family Photography in Lebanon, Ohio

Last month, I captured my first full family photography session in our new Lebanon Studio. Last week, I announced the closing of my first photography studio in Centerville. So, it’s quite fitting to share what our new studio can offer. While this announcement was slightly emotional, it’s a choice I’m so happy to have made. The white walls, cozy bedding, and array of textures create a space that’s perfect for capturing both candid and posed portraits.

In this session, The Hartman family maximized the space by taking photos in multiple areas of the space. I was sure to give daughter Avery plenty of breaks for snacks. Also, letting her run and jump on the bed a bit helped unload some energy between photos.

I’ve known The Hartman Family for years. Like some of my other clients, I went to school with Dad Ryan. Last year, we took family photos outdoors at one of my favorite locations: Cox Arboretum. In just a year, Avery has grown so much. But, her playfulness and personality continue to blossom, and it’s so sweet to see how much she’s grown since our last session.

Avery and her furry friend Ash are so sweet and snuggly together. They are best buds for sure and Ash lets Avery roll all over him. It cracked me up. What a good boy!

Cozy Captures and Memorable Moments

One of my favorite things about the spacious Lebanon studio is the cozy bedding. It really allows for my clients to get comfortable, and a little more intimate with each other. Creating an enjoyable and safe space for my clients to be themselves is a key component to getting great shots. Posing, playfulness, and laughter all become more authentic and genuine.

Additionally, being in the studio allows my clients to wear what they really want — no concern for bad weather here! However, if outdoors is more your style, there are plenty of places I can recommend.
